welcome to my world....cast into the depths by listening to the milburn lite andy burnham earlier today I finally decided to blog......still a labour party member, but driven to distraction by how bloody useless the government is at actually managing anything in practice! Seem to think that exhortation and legislation will just make it happen. And being out of the political sphere highlights that all politicians seem to have no idea about making anything happen.
watched all the doctors demonstrating today against MTAS and MMC, and thought how ironic it is that such a powerful profession who have resisted all reasonable attempts at reform, when it is driven through but with a degree of ineptitude which beggars belief, in which all the major medical institutions were complicit but then have disowned responsibility. So as per usual NHS managers like me will be left to pick up the pieces, while being excoriated as bureaucrats and administrators. But, assuming we do end up with some doctors at work in August, who are competent to practice some kind of medicine, it will be thanks to the poor bloody infantry like me.
